Perfect for suspended ceiling applications; Saf-T-Grid fits 2 ft.-by-2 ft. or 2 ft.-by-4 ft. ceiling tile grid work. With its patented technology design, all weight is carried by the building structure not by the gridwork. This reduces vibration and provides safe secure installation. The complete kit contains 15-feet of support chain, a turnbuckle for easy height adjustment, a heavy duty 15.5 cubic inch capacity electrical box, mounting hardware, and a Saf-T-Cap to protect bolts and wires during sheetrock installation and painting. The 1-1/2 in. electrical box features dual mount capabilities, 8-32 threads for cover plates and lightweight fixtures and 10-24 screws for heavier fixtures, fans and chandeliers. Designed for universal use, Saf-T-Grid is acceptable for support of fixtures and fans of 50 lbs. or less.
