An attractive Native aquatic bog plant that will please every pond keeper. The Bog Lily, crinum americanum, goes by several common names such as Southern Swamp Lily or Swamp Lily. This perennial herb with an onion-like bulb has pleasingly fragrant white flowers each with 6 delicate long petals and burgundy pistils and stamens. There are 2 - 6 flowers at the tip of each flower stalk. Reliable blooms from June into October. 2 in. wide dark green leaves are erect to spreading and strap-like in appearance. A real treat for every pond.
