Batteries are expensive, so you'll save a lot by powering every tool in the collection with just 1 battery. and we didn't want the Hub to get in your way. It's meant to keep a little distance from the project and its long, 4 ft. flexible cord gives you the room to move any which way you please. The Hub powers the MAKERX Rotary Tool, Angle Grinder, Mini Heat Gun, Air Brush and the Wood and Metal Crafter. and it uses the popular, high-tech, 20-Volt Max Lithium-ion rechargeable Power Share line of batteries to do so. Those batteries are the same ones that power all the tools on the Worx Power Share platform, tools like drills, miter saws, chain saws, string trimmers and lawnmowers.
